UNSINKABLE, the latest audio drama series from B7 Media, produced in association with Datura Studios, North Atlantic Ridge and Audiomarvels, and will be released exclusively on Wondery+ on 10 July 2024.

UNSINKABLE is a 11-part audio movie series presented in Dolby Atmos and will be the flagship series for Wondery+ ‘History Tellers’ line-up. The series launches on July 10th (the first two episodes will also be available for free on YouTube) and the remaining episodes drop weekly on Wondery+.

Inspired by the WW2 true story of the San Demetrio – one of the most extraordinary tales of heroism, fortitude, and seamanship of WW2 – UNSINKABLE features an all-star cast led by Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Love Actually, Maze Runner, Queens Gambit), Brian Cox (Succession, the Bourne movies, X2: X-Men United), Nathalie Emmanuel (Game Of Thrones, Fast and Furious movies, Megalopolis) and John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich, In the Line of Fire).

Other cast includes: Harry Hamlin (Clash of the Titans, LA Law), as well as Blair Redford (The Gifted, Three Women), Paul Telfer (Days of Our Lives), Juliet Aubrey (Middlemarch, Primeval), Rupert Vansittart (Game of Thrones, Four Weddings and a Funeral), John Altman (EastEnders, Quadrophenia), and Hugh Fraser (Agatha Christie’s Poirot, Sharpe).

Showrunners were Misha Crosby (American Horror Story, The Lying Game) for Datura Studios and John Mawson (Outlander, Never Have I Ever) for North Atlantic Ridge and the UK producers for B7 Media were Andrew Mark Sewell (BBC’s Dan Dare, The Martin Chronicles, I, Robot and Audible’s The Space Race), Helen Quigley (Theatre of the Damned, BBC’s Mahabharata Now and Audible’s The Effect) and for Audiomarvels, Jack Bowman (Audible’s Murder on the Orient Express, The Soul Breaker).

This original audio movie series embraces the production style and values of cinematic feature films by creating an immersive narrative blockbuster experience through sound design and original orchestral score. The sound design has been led by Jimmy Boyle and his team (Band of Brothers, Casino Royale, Wonder Woman 1984, Harry Potter) and delivered in Dolby Atmos, mixed by Academy Award® Winner Ben Wilkins (Whiplash) with an original score by Grammy nominated composer Stephen Endelman (The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain, Ed, Finding Graceland, Home of the Brave).

About Datura Studios
Datura Studios was founded in 2017 by Misha Crosby, Gerard Roxburgh and UFC Hall of famer Urijah Faber. Their cannabis robbery thriller Green Rush was distributed by Lionsgate in April 2020. Crosby, a Londoner known for his work in FX’s AHS 1984 and ABC Family’s The Lying Game, has since headed up the LA based company which has projects in development across multiple mediums in the entertainment space.

About North Atlantic Ridge
North Atlantic Ridge was founded by John Mawson in 2011. Early work included writing and producing web series and short films, including the award winning 6 Years, 4 Months & 23 Days. Now NAR has a slate of Feature film and TV Series projects in development. These include the TV series, The Spaceman and Timerunner, progressed by Mainstay Entertainment and How It Is Films respectively.
