HELEN QUIGLEY (Production Director, B7 Media) has nearly twenty years’ experience in producing audio for broadcast.
Since joining in 2018, her audio drama credits for B7 Media include the crime-horror pilot episode Theatre of the Damned – inspired by a true story about the birth of the Grand Guignol in 1920s Paris; Greenborne – a new post-Covid radio soap opera launched across the UK; Venna’s Planet; Eleanor of Aquitaine: Mother of the Pride; Dilation; docudrama The Space Race; the Audible psychological thriller series The Effect; and for BBC Radio 4 the court room drama Barred and a modern dramatisation of the ancient Indian poem Mahabharata Now, brought to life as a contemporary drama in the high stakes world of Mumbai’s casinos. Helen has also produced numerous audiobooks; Marriage Bureau, Ray’s Game, Scimitar into Stanley, Comic Book Babylon, Victorian Anthologies and John Altman’s biography In the Nick of Time.
Her other producer credits include network radio trails for the BBC’s flagship TV programming, including Gentleman Jack, Industry, Line of Duty, The Apprentice and Wild Isles. Commercial production work includes mastering for Fresh Air Production’s The Big Steal and Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place app.
Previously she was a Continuity Announcer and Producer for Comedy Central UK and launched Robin Ince and Josie Long on their first forays into podcasting in 2006 as Producer of Robin Ince’s Show and Tell andUtter Shambles.
Helen loves sci-fi, gin, musicals and any excuse to listen to good audio.
